DESCRIPTION

Alfa Forni BBQ 500 is the kit for grilling in the oven that allows you to cook any dish in a unique way, in a mix of baking, grilling and barbecue. Its main features are:

  • Flexibility in cooking with unparalleled results, thanks to the combination of different heat sources.
  • Optimal cooking management, thanks to the rotating grid and the convenient tongs for our food.
  • Possibility of being used in both wood-fired and gas ovens.
  • Compatible with all Alfa domestic ovens
  • Ability to withstand very high temperatures (tested up to 1,000°C).
  • It eliminates the problem of fumes that annoy the kitchen and guests, thanks to the work of the oven flue.

The kit includes:

  • 1 baking tray
  • 1 x Rotating Grid
  • 1 pliers
The combination of different types of cooking allows us to make excellent grills in the Alfa oven, thus avoiding buying another cooking tool dedicated to this type of culinary preparation. BBQ 500 consists of only three elements, simple and effective:
  • 1. The pan that contains the hot embers and serves as a support base in the oven.
  • 2. The rotating rack, which is positioned permanently on the base and on which the food to be cooked is placed.
  • 3. The practical tongs to rotate the grill and turn food upside down, to obtain perfect cooking without the risk of burning yourself

You can use BBQ 500 in all our domestic ovens, both wood and gas (except for the One model). Our grill is in fact able to withstand very high temperatures (up to 1000°C), thanks to the strength of the steel with which it is made.

 

Why settle?

The great culinary versatility is one of the main advantages of BBQ 500, since it allows you to carry out different types of cooking depending on the use we make of it. In fact, it can be used with hot embers in the pan under the grill (to obtain faster cooking and at a higher temperature, similar to the traditional grill), or without (to have a slower but more uniform cooking, similar to that in the traditional oven).

A further choice we can make concerns the management of the oven door, i.e. keeping it open to increase the circulation of hot air and therefore convection cooking, or keeping it closed to imitate the cooking of the traditional barbecue and thus being able to cook more slowly but able to give flavor to our dishes with smoking.
