ALL-ITALIAN TECHNOLOGY AND FUNCTIONALITY

The Geysir Wood 5S is able to burn wood, pellets, multi-fuel or in combined mode without problems.

Once the boiler has been prepared for ignition (by inserting wood into the combustion chamber and the pellets/multi-fuel into the tank), the glow plug with its blower causes the pellet/multi-fuel to ignite, which in turn triggers the ignition of the wood. When the wood reaches a suitable combustion, the electronic control blocks the supply of pellets/multi-fuel and the boiler will run exclusively on wood. When the boiler is exhausted, it automatically restarts with pellets/multi-fuel. If the system no longer requires energy, Geysir is placed on standby , minimizing wood burning, automatically closing the combustion air inlet. If the boiler is working exclusively with pellets/multi-fuels, it is possible to load the wood normally from the hatch. When the door is opened, an actuator opens the smoke by-pass damper, making them pass directly through the flue, increasing the flow rate of the extractor. This prevents the abnormal exit of fumes into the technical room. The same principle applies in the case of pellet/multifuel operation.

GEYSIR “BURNS” PLANT BIOMASS OF ANY TYPE WITH INNOVATIVE BOTTOM LOADING SYSTEM

The large tank is connected by a double jump screw plus rotary valve to the circular cast iron burner. Advanced bottom-loading technology allows you to take advantage of multiple benefits:

• absence of burner cleaning;

• clean white flame and always with the right amount of oxygen;

• reduction of fuel used. When the boiler is placed on standby, it does not use any other fuel for new restarting, but uses the ember effect to start again;

• possibility of using pellets and biomass of any type and quality. Theburner equipped with a removable ring, once removed, is able to burn even more difficult fuels as the surface is larger with additional holes for combustion.

SELF-CLEANING

The Geysir Wood heat exchanger is self-cleaning due to the thermolytic surfaces it contains, so only ash and fine dust are deposited which must be removed only once a year for cleaning and extraordinary maintenance.

THE GEYSIR WOOD EXCHANGER

Designed and sized with fluid dynamics software, the heat exchanger (Famar patent) consists of fins with 24 smoke pass passes. Fully automated: An actuator opens or closes the bypass dampers by changing the passage of flue gas into the flue or dry chamber heat exchanger.

Specially studied and designed with narrow and long passages, with nailed fins in the center in order to ensure the overheating of the internal walls to the passage of fumes. The incandescence of the internal contact surfaces burns the unburnt materials carried by the fumes, transforming them into ash, which remains on the internal surfaces due to the cyclone effect of abatement, as well as recovering additional energy (greater efficiency) which is transferred to the water.
