Gas burners heat the lava stone, placed on a steel grate; or with stainless steel deflectors. Above this is the patented cast iron cooking grid: DOUBLE-SIDED: it can be used on both sides, for two different types of cooking (e.g.: on one side you cook meat, on the other you cook fish) TILTING: it can take four different inclined positions to facilitate the drainage of fats that are conveyed into a drawer located at the bottom of the barbecue. In detail: PIETRA LAVICA is the most used and most loved material for distributing heat in Italy. Its main characteristics are lightness and porosity. It reaches temperature quickly (about 4 minutes) and makes food even tastier.
