The Outdoor Fireplace was designed by award-winning Danish architect Torben Madsen, who has worked a lot on the form and its function: “With its dynamic shape the fireplace also functions as a decorative element for the outdoor space – and will fit into any terrace,” he says.
Corten steel naturally acquires a rust-colored coating patina that protects outdoor fireplaces from the elements, allowing them to be enjoyed for many years. Both variants can be left outdoors throughout the year.
How to speed up the creation of patina
If you want to accelerate the formation of the characteristic rust-coloured patina, simply spray the surface lightly with salt water and let it dry. Repeat until the desired effect is achieved.
Aduro offers a grill with three different height adjustments. It will then also be possible to cook on your Aduro. The grill, made of stainless steel, is equipped with wooden handles and, when not in use, can be discreetly stored in the lower part of the fireplace.
